A move to Colorado inspired this purchase. I justified it by wanting something to try out the unbelievable number of off road trails, but really, I had escaped East coast weather and I needed a convertible. Unfortunately Wranglers hold their value in Colorado, so I was only able to stretch what I got selling the WRX for a rough 4 cylinder TJ. But the miles were relatively low and it wasn’t a YJ, so I was happy enough.

I didn’t do too much to modify it, other than 31″ tires and hard doors. But even in stock-ish form I was able to get out on a number of trails. It was a lot of fun, but didn’t make sense as a only car, so I sold it and moved on to the T100. See the posts linked below for details on my history with it.
